Yes! Every bag I sell help the weavers feed their families. The women are usually the bread winners in the family. Due to their amazing talent they have the ability to weave for a living. They work in cooperatives. It takes a group of women to make just one bag. Mayan Wave gives back by purchasing the bags and keeping them in business.
